They feel a lot and more for those of us who care for them🥹

Anyone who adopts a puppy must understand that it becomes part of their family and that is why it is important to always accompany it. Just as they have done with this little dog who, despite having lost his sight, has never been alone, and now happily celebrates having seen again the faces of the people he loves the most, his family. This happy little dog’s name is Duffy and his face has already gone viral.

The puppy is an elderly Irish Terrier who also lost his sight due to his diabetes. Sadly, Duffy had to forget to see those who had given him so much love, but that didn’t make him stop loving them, let alone eliminate them from his mind.

Duffy came into the hands of his current parents through an organization that rescued him from the streets. And despite the love that these people gave him, the consequences of his past continued to plague him.

As a consequence of the hard life he had led, Duffy became a diabetic patient. Although this was not an excuse for the family to stop loving him. Thanks to the care of Dr. Kevin Kumrow and treatment, Duffy was able to stabilize his diabetes.

But the deterioration in his vision was irreparable to the point that the puppy stopped seeing. Now the family had to take care of a blind puppy and with a lot of love they assumed the responsibility.

Since his blindness, the routine at home changed for the puppy and that process turned out to be quite exhausting but Duffy managed to get by. However, advances in science gave him a new opportunity and given the possibility that he could see the family again, he was encouraged and supportive of the puppy.

Duffy qualified for eye surgery and the hope that he would see again overwhelmed everyone in the household. Dr. Brady Beale was responsible for the operation that was carried out at the Malvern Veterinary Referral Center in Pennsylvania, United States.

After the surgery, Duffy spent a few days under observation and after following the instructions to the letter. Duffy and his family were ready to drop the bandages on the floor and find out if everything had worked. Because it is an important and special moment, these people decided to record it and it is these images that have made this story go viral.

The world has been moved by the tender reaction of the puppy who, according to the images, does not seem to understand how it is possible that he has seen his parents again.

Upon entering the office, the puppy does not stop wagging its tail and everyone’s emotion can be heard on the recording. Apparently he was not the only one amazed with the incredible result of the surgery, his family was really happy for him and for the new life that awaited him.

Even though they know he’s an older dog, it’s never too late to bring joy back to the one you truly love and that’s what the family did for Duffy. Now Duffy the puppy spends his days exploring the garden and enjoying seeing again the silhouettes of the humans he loves most.
